How To Make Nipple Pasties (Tassels)

This craft project involves scissors and your nipples - definitely not a craft project you can do with your kids or as a babysitting activity! No, no, no. It’s time to make some sexy nipple pasties and release your inner burlesque dancer. I know you have one! And these babies aren’t just for your partner, they’re for you too! So let’s get crafty and then shake what our mamas gave us.

What you’ll need: Thin cardboard (I used a cereal box), scissors, tape or glue (fabric glue is even better), measuring tape or ruler, compass (if you want circular pasties), pencil, material and/or tassels, sequins, lace, ribbons, bells or anything else you want to decorate them with.
Step 1: Get your puppies out and measure how wide those fantastic nipples of yours are. (This is probably the only time in your life you’ll ever need to do this.) Add about 2cm to the measurement (you’ll see later on why you have to do this).
Step 2: Trace your desired shape on the cardboard. You don’t have to opt for circular pasties, you might prefer some star, heart, or maybe even lip-shaped pasties! Cut out your shape remembering to leave an extra 2cm. Measure them against your ladies to be sure they cover up your milkshakes (I wonder how many different words I can use to say ‘breasts’?!).

Step 3: Don’t distract yourself by drawing smiley faces on the pasties.
Step 4: Draw a line from the centre of the pastie to the edge. Remember, if you have heart-shaped pasties, make sure to draw the end of the line to the point of the heart. Cut along that line.
Step 5: Trace the pastie shape against your material. (You actually don’t have to use material at all, you could just cover the cardboard in embellishments.) Cut out the material and paste it on the cardboard. Trim off any excess cardboard.

Step 6: Cut the material following the line that reaches the middle of your pastie. If you’re adding a tassel, thread it through the slit so it sits in the middle of the pastie, then tape/glue it down. (Yes, I eat Just Right® cereal. Sultana-ry goodness.)
Step 7: Now unless you have 2D fun bags, we have to make the pasties mold to them. This is where the slit come into play. You need to overlap either side of the slit so that it becomes a slight cone-shape (refer to the photo above). Once you create the desired cone shape, tape it down, and tape it well!

Voila! You have just created some funky nipple pasties! Now use some double-sided tape, stick those babies on for a ride and swing ‘em like no one’s watching!
Here are some other cool nipple tassel samples for you to get inspiration from. Or, if you’re not feeling very crafty, you could just buy some. Check out the glow in the dark ones! I’ve also seen some pasties made purely from candy - oh, kinky. (Click on the image for product information.)

You know, if I did the measuring before hand, I could turn this into a kiddie craft activity and have my own little sweat shop gluing on sequins for Mama.
