What Would You Do With 20 Crocheted Flowers…?

I’ll tell you what you do, you make crazy jewellery and hair accessories! I bought 20 of the things without having a clue what to do with them. The lady who made them had put so much effort into created these little things and they looked pretty, so I couldn’t resist buying them. So yeah, I kind of cheated and had the hard part done for me as they were ready made (as you may know I like to cut corners in my craft projects). But I found some helpful tutorials on how to crochet flowers here, here and even a video tutorial here.
So today I have spent much of my time trying to think of cool and original ways to transform the flowers into something wearable. I’ve created a few things and now I want to make more! I’m in crochet heaven, my friends.

This is my attempt at a funky hair slide. I sewed four of them together, super glued them to a clear plastic hair slide and then added little bells in the middle of each posie. I love anything with bells. They make me feel like a gypsy as they tinkle wherever I roam. I’m wearing it right now and ‘headbanging’ to my music just so I can hear them.

My friend bought me several novelty buttons at a craft fair, and although they’re super cute, I haven’t had any ideas on how to use them - until now! I super glued a little sunshine smiley face button in the centre of my new hair clip. Perfect touch! Then I sewed the crocheted flowers to a pink hair clip. (Although it doesn’t look pink in the photo - crappy camera.)

Here’s my new crocheted flower brooch with a little aeroplane button in the middle. Ah, I love it. Now I want to have my own Etsy store. How much do you think these are worth? You can tell me honestly - maybe 5 bucks each…?

Now here are the models; myself and my beautiful doggy, Cola. She doesn’t look too impressed but I think it looks absolutely smashing on her. Poor Cola, lol. Now I think I might make a crochet ring - do you think I could get away with that? Hmmm…
Big love & crochet glory,

My grandmother used to make these and she tried teaching me but I was only 5-6 years old then so couldn’t really do it very well. I wish I still remembered how to do these!

oh, they’re beautiful! I also think sewing some of them on a plain white tank top would look cute.

amika - Oh-my-god. That belt is SO beautiful!! If only I saw that before! I wish I could see your pimped out scarf and gloves, too. You’re giving me ideas on how I can use the rest of them, though - thank you!
.
Chelle - You can go to some of the links in the post and teach yourself! I think I might do that myself, actually
.
Shadow.x.Crystal - Yeah? You reckon 5 bucks each? Hmmm… This Etsy store idea might be happening sooner than I imagined!
.
natasha - Thank you, Natasha! You are so right, they’d look really cool against the white fabric. I think I just might try that, actually!
