Collective Fashion Consciousness
I’ve had one of those weekends where the drinks were flowing, the pinata was swinging and the company was so good it took me into the wee hours of the morning. But, alas, I am paying for it in the form of a heavy hangover. But when I like to relax and take it easy, I love to emerge myself in fashion blogs and look at all the pretty pictures. With the help of blogrolls, I often find myself leaping from one blog to another, and yesterday I found a fantastic site called Lookbook. It’s where everyday people post photos of themselves in their finest gear and show it off to the world. If members love the outfit then they get ‘karma’ which builds their reputation as being a fashion stylist. It’s great for promoting your designs or just getting feedback on you own personal style. You can get really lost in Lookbook, there’s so much eye candy. Here are some of my favourites.

Okay, I’ll admit it, I just find this guy extremely attractive. He’s a 21 year old film student from Denton who loves vintage clothing and has a killer coat. Love!

After spotting this piccy, I have a strong desire need for white hair.
How cool is this tee?! Apparently you can buy one from her, if you like. I also love the Michael Stipe inspired make-up. She looks like she could kick some ass.
I love this chick’s attitude. She calls herself the ‘Ginger Super Woman’ and says her hair is ‘priceless’. She’s a year 23 year old fashion designer/stylist/musician from London. Check out her threads at Swanz Fly. Note to self: must buy cheap pearls and wear them as an anklet.
She’s a 16 year old fashionista from London who takes some super lovely shots. I actually really love the cocktail umbrella idea. I want to hang them all around my patio whilst sipping piƱa coladas and sunbaking.
I really dig the layered sunglasses. Wayfarer heaven. And that piano belt is funky.
A hot pink pencil skirt and black lace - love it! The girl’s got style and derriere to die for. She’s an 18 year old model/actress from New York City. You should check out her modelling portfolio here.
If I saw every item of clothing separately, I would never of thought they’d go so well together. I think she pulls it off exceptionally well! I also want that orange plaid suspender skirt.
You might be familiar with this lady from her blog. I love how natural she looks amongst decapitated animals.
If you want endless fashion inspiration, then I highly suggest you go check Lookbook out. It’s not just about fashion though, there’s a lot of artistic photos and models to enlight your creative spirit.
Big love & strawberry kisses,
