I cannot believe how much I enjoy doing these ‘typical outfit’ sets. I love writing about each outfit’s persona! I was really getting into it, I actually feel like these are real people now (well, not quite, but you get my drift). As this is a post on fashion from the 60’s, I have to show you this fantastic photo of my Dad from around the mid-60’s

Typical 1960’s Outfits

He’s the epitome of cool! I absolutely love this photo, it’s very James Dean-like. And how much of a poser was he? Mind you, he still is. Okay, so here are my typical 1960’s outfits for the week!

60’s Mod Chic - Tabitha is one talkative teenager! She was kicked out of class today for chatting to her boyfriend Bruce. Mr. Reynolds will have to inform her parents. It doesn’t faze her though, because she knows her Dad is too busy to care and her Mom is not the sternest of types. She’s never been grounded before and knows she never will be. Jackie O - Martha wouldn’t be seen dead in anything which costs less than $500. If she did, she would surely faint. Her style icon is Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. She yearns for intimacy but feels she is destined to live alone in her million dollar mansion with her two Siamese cats, Coco and Chin-Chin. (Click on picture for product information).

1960’s Rebellion - He found joy in rebellion. Not because it was the ‘cool’ thing to do, but because it stirred up the narcs. Robert wasn’t always like this. Two years ago he was a straight-A student. He can’t help but think the war has affected his behaviour. But school can wait. He’s now part of the revolution and that’s more important. 60’s Secret - Lily portrays the classic case of Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde. By day she is the epitome of charm and sophistication, but by night, at around 7:30pm, she likes to have a tipple. One martini can turn into a dozen. Her husband purposely works overtime because of her ghastly nighttime persona, but they never speak of it. She’s comforted by wearing her diamonds to bed. ‘Don Juan’ - Eddie was born cool, it’s in his blood. The ladies love him, he can’t help that. Sure, his womanising ways have caused a lil’ trouble here and there, but that’s what happens when you’re God’s gift to women. He’s learnt though; never double book a date with two different broads. I actually feel for Lily (yes, I know she isn’t real). Poor Lily. Next week I’ll be dipping into the 70’s - far out! Psychedelia, here we come! I hope this was at least somewhat entertaining for you! Hehe, peace!

Big love,
