Earthdance Extravaganza!
Happy Monday! (<- quite the oxymoron, isn’t it?) I thought I’d share a few snapshots of yesterday’s Earthdance. It was so much fun. There were roaming performers, crazy art installations, lots of visual delights and plenty of happy faces. I had my aura cleansed and balanced by an angelic lady called Kitty (I love that name!) with some Pranic healing. I felt very refreshed and clear-headed afterwards. Almost a feeling of completeness. Then we had a boogie on the dancefloor, surrounded by rainbow flames (yes, rainbow!), strobe lights and a DJ playing her tunes in the cockpit of an aeroplane. Then we had our faces painted by a lady sitting in a mushroom house. She was so so lovely. All her muses sat on a pink fluffy unicorn as she channelled what they should have painted on their faces. (And for all Melbournians, you can hire her skills and giant magic mushy for your next shindig! She runs Pheonix Face Painting, Costume & Party Entertainment and you can catch her on 0406924919. How cool would it be to have her at your next birthday party?!) She also gave out fairy wishes! We then explored the jewellery stores, the healing zone and the array of organic and vegetarian foods. Yum yum. And most importantly, we made some new chums along the way. It was such an adventure, I think everyone should go at least once in their life!

(Eep! The mosaic maker seemed to have cut off a few heads there…)
So how was your weekend, guys?! Any stories you’d care to share…?
Big love & kooshy hugs,

P.S. I was interviewed by the super sparkly Lisa Clark of Pink World! Seriously, she deserves a prize for being so lovely and inspirational. (Hm, funny I mentioned ‘prize’, because you can actually vote for her as the Queen of Teen!) You can check out my interview here, if you like! Peace ![]()

Wow looks like an awesome weekend! The facepaint looks pretty, i want one now. I love the photo’s they give a good idea how magnificent the festival was with a lot of intresting people and arts all around you. Mooah i need inspiration like that. And you even got an interview how awesome i’m going to read it with a new cup of tea later on. Oh so my weekend sounds less enjoyable, i went to a goodbye-party of a friend who will take off for 2 years around the world and i challenged 2 other friends into a hitchhike-competition and the night ended like usual in a big debate about how there is still so much un-equalness (is that a word) in the world. Luckily i already dozed off on the couch dreaming about lush paradises.

Scribbles - No way?! Apparently we’re really rare. Only like 1% of the population are INFJs - how cool is that?! Eep. If you’re really desperate and motivated for an Earthdance near you, you can actually start one yourself. I think the website has a few resources to help you. Just make sure you go to one once in your life!
.
Cedar - Thanks, Cedar!
.
Lisa - Aww, thank YOU, Miss C
.
Tara - Yay!! You know what, there’s an Earthdance near you, actually. They’re all around Australia. You must go next year!!
.
amika - Eep, good-bye parties are quite ambivalent, aren’t they? On one side you get to party but on the other you have to say good-bye! Oh well, at least they’ll have an adventure.
Haha, un-equalness/inequality - same thing. I’ve had many discussions like that too, but I’ve come to the conclusion that complete equality is impossible. And oddly enough, would make life boring. I won’t go into my reasoning here though, otherwise I won’t be able to stop.. lol.
.
Song - Woot! You have to come with us!
.
Chic Nicola - Aww, lol, when you put it like that… How about, you went to the beach and then the wind and clouds breezed through to create a beautiful concoction of elements. Hmm.. I should write poetry. The beach always guarantees a lovely time, though, I hope it was fun in the beginning, at least!

Ooooh thanks for sharing! It looked like a lot of fun! Is this an annual event? I’ll be moving to Melbourne next year so I hope to attend it in ‘09!
