Ever Wanted To Pee Standing Up?
You know I love the weird and hilarious, right? Well, the super lovely Ayesha of Cheap and Fabulous sure knows it, so she sent me this:
Now, I’ve already written about the Shit Box, but here’s something for number 1. The P-Mate. It’s a contraption which allows us ladies to pee whilst standing up (standing up!? What ever happened to squatting and drip drying?)
You place the P-Mate directly under your urethra, making sure the hole at the end faces somewhere other than your feet, and then take a whiz just like the fellas do. They actualy have female pee-stands at festivals too - check this out. Can you imagine going to a festival or rave and standing there taking a piss? I don’t know, I kind of prefer the privacy you have when squatting behind a shrub.
What do you guys think? Is the P-Mate the answer to your peeing needs? Would you use it?

Ew. Hell no. I’d hold for hours to avoid using that thing. (I sound so very close minded, don’t I? I swear, i’ll try most stuff once, but peeing standing up just isn’t up there on my list!)

Ha i used that thing but didn’t really made it ‘out’ without making a mess. I do believe its easier to use with a skirt on. I kinda felt myself on display with that thing but my friends and i were curious and it used to be a whole hype at musicfestivals here but i havent seen any girls doing it for a while..

LOL, I think I’ve seen those before. There have been moments when it would have come in handy (camping, but who would think to pack those?), and I can imagine female-to-male’s would find it very useful.

1) Really girls, you’re not missing out on anything at all. Peeing while standing - we just boast about it so you guys will be jealous. It’s really not at all like we make it out to be. A civilised gent such as myself will not just piss anywhere.

A great idea in theory though much safer to squat.
However, it isn’t new. I remember reading that Viginia Woolf once peed out of a train window with some kind of canula. Another useless piece of information!
