Why, hello there, my curious little cupcake!

I’m Ivy Vine, and I currently reside in Melbourne, Australia. I’m all about enhancing our well-being so we can tackle what life throws our way. I’m fascinated by all things alternative. Whether it be alternative fashion, alternative music, alternative art, alternative therapies – I am constantly consumed by the wonder of it all.

I’m especially enthusiastic about fashion. Tokyo street fashion, gothic, rockabilly, raver, feminine chic, new wave, bohemian, geek chic, Victorian, cosplay – I love it all! Marc Jacobs once said, “It’s the things that aren’t accepted as conventionally beautiful that I find more attractive” - and I most certainly agree with that! Head-turning, original and affordable fashion with a twist literally makes me buzz with excitement! It’s an art form that I wish to share and explore with all the unconventional kittens and cool cats around the globe.

I live for people. I’ve been studying psychology and sociology for 6 years and am fascinated about cultures, communities and how the mind ticks. I’m an avid fan of personal development and growth, and wish to delve into related subjects with my readers – that includes you!

I’m an ardent fan of treasure hunting in thrift stores; I’m facinated by body art; I always look forward to dressing up and stomping the night away on the dancefloor; I could talk about sex, love and relationships all night long; I’m bewitched by the 1960’s; I often chat to random strangers; I adore the arts and am a keen painter; I’m all about community building and involvement; I’m an aficionado of all things kitsch; I have a weakness for boys who wear glasses; I fire-twirl (poi) till my heart’s content; B-grade movies from the 50’s and 60’s rock my world; If I’m near a playground I have to play on the swing; I design and create clothing, jewellery and accessories; I’m an online shopping queen (and I’ll love you forever if you make one of my dreams come true!); I’m a Water Pig in Chinese Astrology; I love to entertain guests; and I delight in writing!
