(Almost) Raw Vegan Sushi

I made my first roll of sushi! I was so excited that i had to take a photo and share it with you. It was originally going to be raw vegan sushi, but I added honey - which of course, is an animal product - to the dipping sauce.
They’re chock full of carrot, celery, mixed greens, cucumber, sesame seeds, all wrapped in (untoasted) nori. The dipping sauce is a mixture of crushed walnuts and honey - yum!!
It’s such a healthy meal, I could eat it (almost) everyday. Bon appétit! Or should I say, Itadakimasu.

Hey Ivy, I love your vegan take on Sushi. I’m a big fan of Sushi and all Japanese style food. Great article and extra points for the use of Itadakimasu! Have you tired Miso soup? It is really healthy and most Japanese people have it as part of their breakfast.

Mmm. I’m inspired! I’m going to try the dipping sauce with Agave Nectar to make it vegan. Thanks for sharing!
