Homegrown Revolution
Here’s a fantastic video I found on youtube which I think is aptly posted just after Earth Day. It tells of one man who grows his own food on his property which is situated in California. Every inch is utilised in an economic and environmentally friendly manner. It’ll only take 10 minutes of your time to watch this, but it’ll give you a life-time worth of inspiration and motivation!

Wow, I love the solar oven and hand-held appliances! I love to garden, unfortunately I do not live in a climate to allow anything like in this video - I have to settle with buying organic.
Not to sound negative, but anyone who wants to start a garden to get away from genetically engineered foods, be mindful of where your seeds are coming from! The big corporations, unfortunately, have started to fight back - a bulk of the seeds in North America have been tampered with… gm seeds grow gm food, and these seeds, often called “terminator seeds” die so you can’t get a yield the next year… you have to buy more seeds. There’s definitely hope, but they’re making it a bit harder… we even have to check out our seeds now!

Hi Ivy, I just wanted to come by and say that I really liked that you came over to my blog. I did what you suggested on my blog and felt better almost instantly. I guess that I was feeling that way because things weren’t going ok, but right now everything is back on track. Thank you.
Kisses!
